Above the Oxbow: Place Attachment on Mount Holyoke

I virtually attended the Friends of the Mount Holyoke Range Annual Meeting in November, 2023, and gave a talk about my book Above the Oxbow while it was in the final stages of editing. The Friends, who have been active stewards and advocates for the Mount Holyoke Range for decades, were an important community organization in my research. Their members shared invaluable knowledge, experiences, and perspectives through interviews and conversations that helped shape the book.
