Throughout the run of De la Tierra: Indigenous Ceramics from West Mexico Transcending Time and Space, I gave multiple presentations and exhibition tours for students, alumni, and public audiences. These talks, some of which were given alongside student curators, explored the collaborative process of curating the exhibition, from object selection and interpretation to exhibition design and installation. One such talk took place during a Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Day celebration at Stanford in November 2024 and was co-presented with student curator Karen Rojas ’25.
