Cultivating STEM Skill Sets with Art and Artifacts

April 27, 2023 · Yale · Workshop

Along with Gina Hurley at the Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, I designed and led two teaching workshops at the Yale University Art Gallery in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. The workshops, called “Cultivating STEM Skill Sets with Art and Artifacts,” were geared towards postdocs and graduate students in STEM fields, helping participants design object-based learning activities that foster STEM skill development, active learning, and equitable classroom engagement.
